alrite. now back to leipzig city I am trying to get my feet back on
the ground, as my favourite english band once sang ..

anyway, 100 square meters, a guest room and a kicker room is
nice, especially if it is cheap as hell :)

nice as well is 26mbit down und 1mbit up internet link! at the
moment I'm sharing it as managed network, unlimited for
possibly 100 dhcp clients. so lets see how many turn up! hehe

so, if anybody is around in leipzig, just gimme a ring!

2006-09-30: |||subsignal goes WSFII summit in India

our member kloschi will be part of the WSFII
summit in Dharamsala / India from 22nd of Oct. - 10th of Nov. 2oo6.
Whatch out for stream announcements, and maybe a blog he will try
to bring up to keep the crowd informed.

we-funk.o6 was this years' weimarnetz spring
event. We solved alot of issues like VPN (interconnecting clouds,
connecting freifunk Berlin, Leipzig and Weimar), had talks about
WSFII and the actual wsfii summit (Airjaldi official page),
and future planning for freifunk weimar.

2005-07-29: we got hacked ..

at least the wireless wiki got hacked by some friendly
hackers, who just left this message for us there.
no damage. all good .. so far :)

you might wanna have a look at google, where they
were active tonite ..

seems the hole was in phpBB, which other users on our
server have installed.
through a bug in phpBB a cross attack was possible. all
phpBBs are disabled now on this machine.
question is - how to engage users to either use secure
software or do regular updates, at least when bugs and
worms are known to be around ..

2005-06-30: nva teleskop & 15dBi antenna

so, will try to crowd this place a little more ; )

yesterday we checked an old gdr army (NVA) 12m teleskop, to mount
antennaes in the middle of the nowhere. besides we have to check the
mounting of the wires, to have a stand against wind, this thinie is pretty
kewl.
yeah, we will have mobile 15m antenna!

and, I have found 15dBi omni antennaes, for just 119$, hehe.
